How soon will I receive my order?

Your marker will arrive within 3 weeks of placing the order. Shipping may take up to 5 business days, depending on location.

 

How do I have the marker installed?

You will need to contact the cemetery regarding installation. Let them know you are ordering a 12" x 24" flat granite marker from an outside vendor. These markers come in either 3" or 4" thick. With this information they should be able to give you an accurate price and approval.

 

Can I have two names on the marker?

Yes, we can create a companion marker for you at no additional cost. Our website is not currently set up to design companion markers, but if you'd like to email us the following information we will send you a proof for approval. We will need the names, dates, terms of endearment (optional) along with your font and art choice from our website.

 

How is the lettering applied?

All of the text and artwork is sandblasted to a depth of approximately 1/8", then painted black or white.

 

Are there any other sizes available?

Currently, we offer solid all natural granite 24"x 12" grave marker in gray and in premium grade midnight black.

 

How much does the marker weigh?

With packaging, our 4" thick markers, with packaging, will weigh roughly 120 lbs.

 

Will I see a proof of my order?

The preview you see before entering your credit card information is used as your proof. If any adjustments are made to your design, a new proof photo will be emailed to you for approval.

 

Can I order without a credit card?

If you don't have a credit card to use, you can print out your design from our website and mail it in with a check or money order. mail your checks to Stone Plans , 425 NW K St , Richmond - IN 47374 Please be sure to include your contact information when placing an order through the mail.

 

Where will my order be shipped?

We can ship the marker to anywhere in the continental US. Most customers prefer to have the marker shipped directly to the cemetery to save the hassle of moving it themselves. When entering your payment information, you must enter the billing address for the credit card being used. After the order is placed, you can reply to your confirmation email with the updated shipping address. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 30 minutes of ordering, please give us a call.

 

What if my order is damaged during shipping?

If the marker is lost or damaged during shipping, send us a picture proof of damaged marker, we will replace it at no charge.

 

What do I need to know before ordering?

Before ordering, it is best to contact the cemetery where the marker will be placed. You will want to be sure they accept the markers we carry. This is the information they will need: it is a 24: X 12" x 3" or 4" flat Granite marker.
